The Conference

The Digital Dentistry Society Global Congress 2025 took place in Venice on 16–18 October 2025, at the Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido, as a joint meeting with the IADMFR (International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology). The congress marked the 10th anniversary of the DDS.

The theme of the congress was “Dentistry between Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality and Robotics”. The lectures covered artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment planning, mixed reality and dynamic navigation in implant placement, autonomous robotic systems, 3D imaging and printing, and digital workflows in implantology and prosthodontics. In parallel, the programme included IADMFR sessions on dentomaxillofacial radiology, e-poster sessions and workshops.

According to the DDS, the congress brought together more than 1,000 participants from 70 countries and over 30 companies. It also saw the launch of the DDS Certification Program and the new Digital Dentistry Journal.

Gala Dinner

On Friday 17 October, following the welcome cocktail, the Gala Dinner took place at the Palazzo del Casinò on the Venice Lido. The evening featured a red carpet with a photo shoot and an award ceremony for the companies that received DDS certification.
