Purpose and content of the websites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-zUOVCBMUwn\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The information on the websites is informational and educational in nature. The Institute\u2019s websites and services are aimed at dentists and dental assistants, except for the two websites mentioned above. Details shown, such as programme content, instructors and dates, may be changed according to the needs of the programmes, to ensure their proper operation, without prior notice. Errors may occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-2uOXsHhuSA\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">5. Registration and participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"block-SpG8v0Ve9U\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-KjkMxcyRw3\">A. Webinars and programmes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-kNnKriNlNH\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The webinars the Institute provides through webinars.edu.gr are free of charge. Registration requires you to complete your details correctly and in full. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"block-gJadsITHKT\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-KjkMxcyRw3\">B. Personal credentials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-RIMfacI7UN\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The passwords and credentials for access to the learning platforms are personal. You may not share them or give them to third parties. You are responsible for any use of your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"block-nnWxY1LDh9\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-KjkMxcyRw3\">C. Technical requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-eWNrH0yMih\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">To attend online programmes you need an internet connection and suitable equipment. The Institute is not liable for interruptions or malfunctions caused by your own connection or device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"block-XrbFvEy1kN\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-KjkMxcyRw3\">D. Credit points (\u201c\u03bc\u03bf\u03c1\u03b9\u03bf\u03b4\u03cc\u03c4\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7\u201d)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-mWJspvmL0g\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Credit points apply to dentists in Greece (credit points under the Greek system). The Institute does not award credit points. Only if you choose this at registration does it pass your details to the scientific society organising the webinar, so that they can be passed on to the Hellenic Dental Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"block-M6OtwbYmyj\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-KjkMxcyRw3\">E. Certificates and attendance hours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-ufMw0Z8xwU\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Attendance hours are recorded on the learning platforms. Certificates of attendance are issued in accordance with the rules of each programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-nJHOfXHEAt\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">6. Personal data and cookies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-bttHlX0mVf\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The processing of your personal data is described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/stage.merimnaseminars.gr\/en\/privacy-policy\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>, which forms an integral part of these terms. The use of cookies is described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-8VMF4zppj9\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">7. Payments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-cUMFuJNg4B\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">No payment is made on the Institute\u2019s websites, and none will ever be requested through them. We do not collect card or bank account details on the websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0MZShA8gNT\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Payment for programmes that are not free of charge is made:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>by bank deposit to a bank account of the Institute,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>by card at the physical venue,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>through IRIS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-4tm2k8LXE7\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Payment details are given when your registration is confirmed. Payment in full is due at least two (2) weeks before the start of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-RFa5j2vgyM\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">8. Withdrawal and refunds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-XjFSrfg0CJ\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">As its own policy, the Institute gives all participants the right to withdraw from the participation agreement within fourteen (14) days of concluding it, without giving a reason, by written notice to <a href=\"mailto:info@merimnaseminars.gr\">info@merimnaseminars.gr<\/a>. Refunds are made by the same method as the payment. If a programme does not take place, the full amount paid is refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-AtD9wzoecy\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The right is not provided for accommodation, transport or catering services with a specific date of provision, where these are included in the programme, nor where the service has already been fully provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-Gf75QIrU6F\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">If you are a consumer within the meaning of Law 2251\/1994, the rights the law gives you (articles 3e and 3ib) are not affected by these terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-ktqnOdDJjI\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">9. Force majeure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-SwbQ58oR7W\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The Institute is not liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by force majeure, that is, events beyond its control that could not be foreseen or prevented. This includes tickets, participants\u2019 accommodation and instructors\u2019 lodging, where these are included in programmes. In such a case the Institute may postpone or modify the programme and will inform you as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-Q9jo48zudt\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The Institute decides case by case, taking into account the interest of the participant, on the refund or transfer of money that has already been paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-mg83fg1llg\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">10. Rules of conduct<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0smXA34c6k\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">When taking part in programmes and webinars you must follow these rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>respect the instructors, the other participants and the Institute\u2019s staff,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>follow the organisers\u2019 instructions and the programme schedules,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>do not act in ways that disrupt the smooth running of the programme,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>do not record (image or sound) or rebroadcast the content of programmes without written permission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-57LTMBIM1D\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The Institute may exclude from a programme anyone who breaks these rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-hDQuPg8Y8H\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The Institute decides case by case, taking into account the interest of the participant, on the refund of money to a participant who is excluded from a programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"block-ZLNiNMmqZt\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-gt-0FP4XrG4sY\">11. Copyright and trade marks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-HTEJI9AO8S\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">The content of the websites and programmes (texts, images, videos, educational material) is protected by intellectual property law.
